PLANNING FOR 2019 & BEYOND

Tour East (full-service destination management company operating exclusively B2B from 18 countries across the Asia Pacific region) conducted its 3rd annual global inbound (GIB) conference between 09-11th January 2019 at the Holiday Inn Silom Bangkok.  This was the group’s 1st time for holding this large-scale event outside of Singapore, and Thailand was the chosen venue.

The annual GIB conference is an important 3 day event, where Tour East branch office managers are joined by international sales representatives and Tour East Holdings staff to discuss how to expand business in each destination. The conference is vital for exchanging ideas and creating a strong bond between Tour East work colleagues. This year, more than 70 Tour East members from all over the globe attended this event, with several new faces joining. We welcomed 2 team members from the soon to-open Tour East US office (located in Los Angeles) supporting the company’s push into the Americas. The new Laos office was there for the 1st time attending the meeting representing a Tiger Trail partnership with Tour East Group. We also had key sales members join us from Russia, Europe, India, China, Australia, Indonesia, Middle East…. and, of course, the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia (covered by Select Representation).
