YES, IT’S TRADE SHOW TIME IN BERLIN….AGAIN!

How time flies!  Once again we are planning ahead for ITB Berlin in March 2019. This year Select Representation has the following clients attending the show between 06 – 09th March:

Maldives: Adaaran Resorts, Maldives, including the soon to open 5* luxurious Heritance Aarah.

Thailand: Apsara Beachfront Resort & Villa (Khao Lak) & Deevana Plaza Krabi (Ao Nang – Krabi) & Phangan Bayshore Resort (Koh Phangan) & The Old Phuket (Karon Beach – Phuket).

Indonesia: Bali Mandira Beach Resort & Spa (Legian- Bali) & Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso (Nusa Dua – Bali)

APAC region: Tour East – Asia’s leading DMC.

India:  TBi – An award winning Indian DMC.

We have noticed a trend in recent years, of tour operators visiting ITB Berlin for just 1 or 2 days, rather than the full 3 trade days.  Maybe it’s due to the cost or due to the timing or due to the fact most key clients have local representation in the markets targeted or the fact there are too many trade shows. In reality, it’s more likely to be a combination of 2 or more of these factors.  Visitor numbers are definitely dwindling from the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Belgium and Holland.
