BALI IS VERY DIFFERENT TO THE REST OF INDONESIA!

Bucket List Bali

My first visit to Bali was back in 1991, after I had finished studying travel and tourism at Bournemouth University.  Like many other aspiring travellers …..the plan was to see a bit of the globe, before starting out in the ‘real world’ of working.  Let’s just say that my speedy worldwide tour (90 days) definitely has stood me in good stead for a long career in tourism!  The trip itself allowed me to backpack from London – Bangkok – Kuala Lumpur – Singapore – Bali – Darwin – Cairns – Sydney – Fiji – Honolulu – San Francisco – Los Angles – Toronto.  One of my favourite places to visit was Bali and I’ve been going back regulary ever since (mainly for work!).  In the 90’s Bali was very different from the Bali of today, yet still remains on many people’s ‘bucket list’ of places to visit.
