GREAT SERVICE ACROSS THE GULF OF THAILAND

Looking to save time travelling between Pattaya and Hua Hin? Then look no further than the excellent ferry service provided by Royal Passenger Liner Company Ltd.

The Pattaya to Hua Hin service officially launched in 2017, and has gone from strength to strength. The ferry operates from the Bali Hai Pier in Pattaya and Khao Takiab pier in Hua Hin; and is part of the Thai government’s East-West Ferry Project, which aims to boost tourism between Chonburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan.

The journey takes approximately 2 hours and cuts the road time by more than 50%. However, this can be a choppy crossing, so the journey time can take longer, especially during the rainy season (May to October).

Marcus and Jonathan from Select Representation recently travelled from Hua Hin to Pattaya in Business Class and certainly feel the upgrade was worth it.  Business Class has more space and less people for the minimal extra cost (THB300 one way), so this was money well spent.  It’s also good to know that the 2 ports are both well located in the heart of Pattaya and Hua Hin, so that makes travelling much easier. Overall, it’s really worth considering this sea crossing as great alternative to the traditional ….yet longer road journey.
