ESCAPE TO ….ADAARAN CLUB RANNAHLI

Looking for a perfect yet affordable getaway in the Indian Ocean?  Then look no further than the Adaaran Club Rannahli, a beautiful, simple and private island, located within the South Male Atoll (Maldives).  Located just 45 minutes by speedboat (operated and owned by the island) this picturesque compact island offers a truly relaxing and informal village-like vibe.

All 96 standard rooms (located within 2 storey buildings) are tastefully decorated and well-equipped, to include air-conditioning, minibar, TV, phone, in room safe and wifi.  The 26 water bungalows are spacious with traditional Maldivian decor, private sundeck and glass bottom floor area.

My Favourite Bits:

There are many reasons why I like this island….to include:

  • Short speed boat ride from the airport, ideal after a long and tiring international flight.
  • Beautiful white sand beaches, which never feel crowded.
  • Amazing snorkelling & dive opportunities, walk-in from the beach.
  • Relaxed and informal feel, due to the typically younger, international and non pretentious type of clientele.
  • Great value for money.
  • Friendly staff.
