TIME FLIES ….WHEN YOU ARE HAVING FUN!!!!

It’s frightening to think that the 1st February 2022 marks the 10th anniversary of Select Representation launching. Now where did that time go?

Let’s start by thanking all those clients (hotels and destination management companies) who entrusted us to be their ‘local face’ on the ground.  Of course, we could not have achieved success without your support.  We are very proud to say that we have a number of clients who have been with us from the very beginning…. and are still with us today. Thank you for your loyal support during these unprecedented times!

Next to our travel industry partners (tour operators, travel agents, airlines and tourist boards).  Thank you for years of warmth, friendship, and support. We absolutely couldn’t have done it without you, nor could we have taken the next steps without your help. We hope you’ll keep holding us to our high standards, and telling us when we’ve met your expectations and when we’ve let you down. Thank you for your never ending trust and amazing loyalty for the products that we represent.

It’s true to say that the hotel and dmc representation world has changed dramatically over the past decade. There certainly seems to be a multitude of new players in the game and competition has never been so strong. Saying that, competition can only be good for everyone, as it helps keep established outfits on their toes and ensures things remain fresh.  As with any industry, representation companies have come and gone. The covid pandemic has played a big part in deciding who will and won’t survive! 

Finally, there’s a special thanks to my ex colleague Marcus Leach who was part of Select Representation for close to 8 years. Unfortunately, the dreaded ‘c’ word curtailed Marcus’s employment with us in 2020. Thanks for your help and support over the years. Best of luck for the future.
